About the Role

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Heartlands Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy pharmacy environment with high volume dispensing, and to contribute to the delivery of care from our automated pharmacies.

Main Responsibilities

  • To ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of all aspects of the pharmacy services delivered by Pharmacy@UHB in Heartlands Hospital.
  • To work collaboratively and supportively with the pharmacy manager/superintendent to develop an effective working relationship and contribute to the efficient management and administration of the business.
  • To work collaboratively and co-operatively with the pharmacy manager and other pharmacists to avoid or minimize the use of locum pharmacists.
