Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom ITonlinelearning Full time

Are you looking to kick-start your career in IT and cyber security? Look no further than our comprehensive training programme at ITonlinelearning. As a Cyber Security Trainee, you will benefit from fully accredited training, expert tutor support, and mentoring. Our unique programme is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the competitive world of IT and cyber security.

We estimate that the salary for this role will be around £25,000-£30,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Our programme consists of four stages:

Step 1: Accredited Online Training

You will complete a selection of professional, accredited, and industry-recognised courses from CompTIA, including IT Technician, Networking, and Cybersecurity training. The training is delivered via multimedia-rich video tutorials, practice labs, presentations, and quizzes through a portal that you study from home. You will also be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor to guide you throughout your training.

Step 2: Practical Training

You will gain practical experience by using practice labs, which enable you to practice and master what you have learned.

Step 3: Official Exams

You will then go on to sit the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ exams to gain official certifications recognised worldwide. The CompTIA A+ is the most sought-after certificate for entry-level IT roles, while the Network+ provides a solid foundation in networking.

Step 4: IT Technician Placement

Once you have completed the mandatory training, you will be placed in an IT technician role where you will gain two years of experience before progressing into a cyber security role. During this time, you will receive additional training, including online training, practical training, and an official exam (CompTIA Security+).

Our flexible payment plan allows you to start with a deposit of around £190 and finance the remaining balance over 12 months interest-free. We guarantee that upon completion of the programme, you will secure an entry-level IT job or receive a full refund of your course fees.
