Virgin Media O2 is seeking an experienced and skilled Network Infrastructure Technician to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Network Infrastructure Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, combined with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You will work independently to diagnose and resolve technical issues, both in the field and in our offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain network infrastructure, including fiber optic cables and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both in the field and in our offices
- Document processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Collaborate with the technical team to share knowledge and best practices
Requirements:
- A UK Manual driving licence with no more than 8 points
- Ability to work at heights and outside in all weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A competitive salary of £33,750 (based on 37.5 hours), plus overtime and performance-based commission
