About the Role
Health Education and Improvement Wales is seeking a Senior Dashboard and Data Warehouse Developer to join our Data and Analytics team. We are a growing team providing analytical support across NHS Wales.

We require someone with experience in technical development and maintenance of data warehouses, reporting solutions, and business intelligence tools like Power BI, DAX, and MS SQL technologies.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to scope, design, and create content that answers key business questions, providing evidenced-based business intelligence solutions using a single version of truth data platform.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on health and social care services in Wales. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise while working with a talented team to deliver operational insights for users within Health Education Improvement Wales and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver HEIW Data Warehouse solutions for operational insights
- Collaborate with the HEIW Analytics team and product owners to provide data-driven decision-making dashboards
- Create business intelligence solutions adhering to standard operating procedures and data quality standards

Requirements:
- Degree in computing, informatics, mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Experience in data warehousing, relational databases, and information systems
- Advanced IT and analytical statistical skills with knowledge of MS SQL, SSIS, Power BI, DAX
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders
