Job Title: Trainer - Home Care Specialist

At Home Instead, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our clients. As a Trainer - Home Care Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our care professionals have the skills and knowledge they need to deliver outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our organization and our clients.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to care professionals to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our training programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum professional experience in the care sector.
  • Experience of training delivery and adult education.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office programs and ability to use them for training purposes.
  • Relevant teaching qualification, although training can be given.
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care vocational qualification or equivalent (minimum).
  • Functional Skills (Maths & English) at Level 2 minimum.
