Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Special Education and Care Specialist to work with us at Aspire People. This role involves developing and implementing effective SEN strategies in an early years setting, working closely with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and deliver personalized learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  3. Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning space that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
  4. Leverage a range of resources and strategies to support children's sensory, emotional, and educational development.
  5. Monitor and record child progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instruction and make adjustments as needed.
  6. Pursue ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in SEN education.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an SEN or early years teaching role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEN strategies, particularly within an EYFS/Reception context.
  • An empathetic, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is around £38,000 - £48,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience. This is a permanent, full-time role.
