Role Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Children Nurse Specialist within the Complex Needs Nursing Team at the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex health needs, including those with epilepsy. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based specialist nursing skills, knowledge, and expertise in the care and management of children and young people with epilepsy.
  • Clinical assessment of children's needs, care plans, and implementing packages of care accordingly.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Children's Nurse.
  • Degree/Diploma in relevant subject or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
