About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Technologist to lead our global customer account and drive product innovation. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new product lines, improving existing products, and maintaining our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, ensuring they meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, specialist bodies, and the general marketplace to stay up-to-date on the latest ingredients, technologies, and regulations.
  • Provide technical support to customers, communicating effectively through written and verbal means.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform product development and business strategy.
Requirements
  • Graduate or equivalent degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in product development, preferably in the food industry, with a focus on salad dressings, condiments, and sauces.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business data to inform product development and business strategy.
