Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Technologist to lead our global customer account product development workstreams and maintain/develop the portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products within the constraints of the brief.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of products that meet customer requirements and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with other McCormick facilities to drive product improvement workstreams.
  • Provide technical support to customers and interact with 3rd parties to ensure up-to-date ingredients and technologies are employed in new developments.
  • Manage HACCP/HARA sign-off and R&D audits.
  • Travel within EMEA to support customer requirements.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate or equivalent in Food Technology/Food Science or related subject.
  • Relevant bench development experience in salad dressings, condiments, and sauces.
  • Ability to think laterally and solve complex problems.
  • Project & team management skills.
  • Confident customer-facing role in all appropriate customer meetings, presentations, trials, and project updates.
  • Articulate, confident communicator.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
