About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Solar PV CAD Designer to join our team at i2i Recruitment. As a Solar PV CAD Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design team, ensuring our installers and clients have access to accurate Solar designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tender packs and documentation from clients to ensure accurate design requirements.
  • Analyse energy reports against builders site plans to identify optimal Solar PV locations.
  • Collate documents to create a comprehensive design pack for clients.
  • Create detailed site plans indicating Solar PV locations using AutoCAD.
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the design team.
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Understand and interpret clients' expectations to deliver high-quality designs.
Requirements
  • AutoCAD experience is essential for this role.
  • PVSol, VDV planner, and Solar experience are desirable but not required.
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, are necessary for this role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
