Mentor for Young People in Residential Care

Make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people as a Residential Support Worker in our children's home in Southport. Our team provides a supportive environment where children can learn life skills and develop into confident individuals.
About the Job:- Live-in support worker role, working 2 full days and nights, followed by 4 days off
- Supporting children aged 8-16, providing daily care, including meals, hygiene, and education
- Ensuring emotional support and stability, helping children build resilience and confidence
- Male candidates only, due to resident requirements
- Full UK driving license and ideally own vehicle, or access to a house car
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People's Workforce advantageous, but not essential
- Competitive salary: £14.09 per hour (Level 3 qualified) or £12.65 per hour (non-Level 3 qualified)
- £60 per sleep-in shift
- 224 hours holiday per year, increasing to 226 after 2 years' service
- Bank holidays paid at 1.5x rate
- Private healthcare
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Claim petrol reimbursement at 40p per mile
