We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support young people at risk of offending, poor life chances, or involvement in the criminal justice system.

Key Details
  • Hourly Rate: £00 LTD inclusive of holiday pay (£19.92 per hour)
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Contract: 3-month initial contract with possibility of extension
About the Role
  1. The successful candidate will supervise and work with young people in various settings to reduce the risk of offending and harm to others.
  2. They will develop and deliver individual and group programs to support young people's personal and social development.
  3. Evaluation of services provided will ensure that the views and needs of young people are central to the services.
  4. Accurate records of all work with young people must be maintained using the electronic recording system as required.
  5. Collaboration with statutory and voluntary partners is essential to offer positive opportunities for young people.
  6. Advocacy for young people in multiple settings represents their interests and needs.
  7. Families will be supported to address areas of concern and help integrate them into mainstream services.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Graduate or similar level qualification in an area related to working with young people or offenders.
  • Experience: Experience working with young people and their families.
  • Skills & Abilities: Understanding of safeguarding and risk management for young people, knowledge of applying Liverpool City Council's Child Protection procedures, ability to engage with young people, essential car user.
