Job Overview

We are seeking a Hospital Infection Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will ensure infection prevention is addressed across all hospital areas, advising on best practices and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services to design an annual program aligned to HCAI code and CQC regulations
  • Develop IPC links at Hospital level and support Hospital Managers in implementing audits, reviewing compliance and action planning
  • Advise senior management on new developments in Infection Prevention, staying up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines
  • Ensure risks of infection are identified throughout hospital departments and disciplines, with risk assessments reviewed annually and as needed

Key Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have experience in Infection Prevention, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. A full driving license and willingness to travel nationally are essential.

Work Arrangements:
