We are currently seeking a highly motivated and committed professional to take responsibility for the hospital at night as Senior Hospital Operations Manager.

About the Role

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience of crisis management and responding to emergencies, as well as experience of managing teams and complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the hospital operations
  • Provide effective clinical leadership and support to the nursing and healthcare team across the hospital
  • Oversee patients care, ensuring safe staffing levels across the hospital and effective incident management where required
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Mentor and support staff by facilitating supervisions and post-incident debriefs
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid license
  • Experience in a managerial or leadership role within a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to patient-centred care, quality, and safety
  • Ability to balance conflicting demands using adaptive thinking and positive problem-solving

Salary and Benefits
