Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Class Teacher: Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver the EYFS curriculum, ensuring a cohesive and engaging learning experience for children.
  • Activity Planning and Implementation: Assist in planning and implementing activities that foster children's development in all areas of learning, promoting a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Individual Support: Provide one-on-one and group support to children, particularly those who may require extra help, to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, promoting a sense of calm and focus among children.
  • Observations and Assessments: Support with observations and assessments in line with the EYFS framework, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a sense of community and cooperation.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential for this role.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in an Early Years setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of the EYFS framework is required, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Approach: A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children is essential for success in this role.
