Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all children.
  • Assist with planning and implementing engaging activities that foster children's development in all areas of learning, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to children, particularly those who may need extra help, to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  • Support with observations and assessments in line with the EYFS framework, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential, demonstrating a strong understanding of early years education.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, with a proven track record of supporting children's development.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework, with the ability to apply it in a practical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children, with a commitment to their well-being and education.
