Job Title: Principal Communications Design Engineer

Description:

This role is for a Principal Communications Design Engineer who will be working as part of the Platform Complex Systems Delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities, defect resolution and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities, defect resolution and change management
  • Understand the contractual and performance requirements for various systems, and support the definition and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation and commissioning activities
  • Produce documentation required to support the design review process, including: diagrams; technical specifications; supporting calculations; design evidence and justifications

Requirements:

  • Relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification and experience
  • Technical report writing skills and experienced in requirements definition and management
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
