English Teacher for SEMH Provision

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a SEMH provision in Burnley.
Salary: £14,000 - £16,000 per month (based on 30 days per month)
About the RoleThis is a long-term position offering a stable and supportive environment for students aged 11-18. As an English Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons, manage classroom behavior, and support students' individual needs.

Job Description
- Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting your approach to meet the needs of mixed-ability classes.
- Manage classroom behavior and learning during lessons and throughout the school day.
- Work collaboratively with pupil support workers to ensure each student receives necessary support.
- Develop social skills and encourage individual growth among students.
- Build confidence and motivation through engaging lessons and positive reinforcement.
- Participate in team meetings and training programs as an active team member.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.
- Knowledge and understanding of SEMH student needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a caring attitude.
