Teaching Personnel Seeks English Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled English teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about teaching and wants to make a real difference in the lives of students.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience managing student behavior and learning during lessons and throughout the school day.
  • Reduced class sizes allow for close coordination with pupil support workers to ensure each student receives the necessary support.
  • This position involves delivering English across Key Stage 3 and 4, catering to mixed ability classes that require effective differentiation.
  • Key responsibilities include encouraging social skills development, supporting individual needs, and building confidence and motivation in students.
  • Participating in team meetings and training programs as an active member of the team is essential.

About the Role:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) is highly desirable but not essential for this role.
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject is required.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of various learning and behavioral needs associated with SEMH students are necessary.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, along with a caring attitude, are crucial for success.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £140 - £160 per day, working from 8:30 – 3:30, Monday to Friday.
