**About the Role**

We are seeking a motivated Mentor for SEMH Students to join our team at Teaching Personnel. In this role, you will work closely with the Headteacher of a specialist provision in the Burnley area.

The school is committed to supporting children with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), fostering an environment where all children can grow and thrive. As a Mentor for SEMH Students, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

About the Position

You will work alongside the class teacher to support children, using your expertise to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each student. This may involve adapting your strategy to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Your primary responsibility will be to encourage children to reach their full potential and provide ongoing motivation. You will build positive relationships with both children and adults in the classroom, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

In challenging situations, it is essential to remain calm and provide effective strategies to manage stress. Experience in environments similar to this would be highly beneficial.

Salary and Benefits
