About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Ability Recruitment Group. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing.
    • Monitor patients' health and report any concerns to senior staff.
    • Support patients with physical disabilities and impairments.
  • Emotional Support:
    • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
    • Help patients cope with stress and anxiety related to their condition.
  • Hygiene & Infection Control:
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
    • Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Teamwork & Communication:
    • Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
    • Maintain open and honest communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Essential:
    • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
    • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Desirable:
    • Previous experience in healthcare or social care.
    • Basic life support training.
Working Conditions
  • Varied shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
  • Physically demanding, including lifting and moving patients.
  • Emotional challenges due to patient conditions.

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
