About the Position

This Adult Autism Support Worker position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with autism. Working closely with our clients and their families, you will develop tailored support plans to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting individuals with autism in developing daily routines and strategies for independent living.
  • Encouraging participation in community activities, promoting social inclusion and opportunities for personal growth.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, personal care, and household chores.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience working with adults with autism or similar disabilities
  • Basic computer skills to maintain simple records and locate information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creativity and flexibility in approaching challenges

  • An estimated annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience
