About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to join the Surgery Clinical Board as Deputy Director of Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership and support to the Clinical Board Director and the Director of Operations.

Main Responsibilities

The Deputy Director of Operations will be responsible for the effective strategic and operational management of Services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient services within the resources available. This will involve working closely with Directorates to ensure service priorities and targets are delivered in a timely way.

Key Requirements

  • Significant senior management experience working in general management within the NHS or private sector.
  • Experience of leadership at a senior management level.
  • Experience of leading and managing service development and evidence of achieving improvement.
  • Experience of strategic planning.
