We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in the food industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling a range of dairy products into wholesalers and end users
- Managing a portfolio of 50+ accounts, with sales potential up to £1 million
- Following up on new business opportunities and converting them into sales
- Working closely with client sales teams to educate them on our products
- Attending trade shows to help grow the brand
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
- A background in the food service or food wholesale industry
- Experience in growing and nurturing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A full UK driving license
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the food service industry and have a strong understanding of the types of decision makers they need to speak to. They will also have experience of leading meetings, creating business plans, and presenting to clients.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000 per annum
- OVERTIME EARNINGS: Potential c£5,000 per annum
- COMPANY CAR AND FUEL CARD
- 25 DAYS HOLIDAY PER ANNUM
- GOOD PENSION SCHEME
- HEALTHCARE AND DIS PLAN
We are looking for someone who is well organised, able to plan their site visits effectively, and manage their own diary to maximise their account base. If you are a motivated and driven individual who is passionate about the food service industry, we would love to hear from you.
