Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Deputy Manager to join our team in a state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster. As a key member of staff, you will be responsible for leading and managing the team to deliver exceptional care to older adults and residents with dementia.
About the Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a managerial role, with strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and inspire a team. They should also have comprehensive knowledge of dementia and elderly care, including an understanding of DOLs (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) and safeguarding regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team to deliver high-quality care, maintaining operational and clinical excellence.
- Support the Home Manager in achieving the home's goals and objectives.
- Oversee daily activities, manage the home in the absence of the Home Manager, and maintain high standards of care.
- Participate in the local management On-Call Rota.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £32,500 per annum, plus benefits, reflecting the importance of this role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
