Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Development of an Effective Quality Management System: Implement an optimized business management system (QMS) that everyone understands and embraces, defining and overseeing improvement of the quality management system to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Deploy and Monitor Quality Management Systems: Deploy the QMS across the company, monitor its application, and ensure that appropriate improvement actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate Audit Activities: Coordinate and conduct the company's audit policy through an appropriate program of audits, responsible for coordinating and facilitating all external accreditation audits to maintain EN9100 certification.
Essential Qualifications
  • Education: HNC/HND/Degree-level, or equivalent, in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in implementing and improving AS/EN9100 quality systems in an aerospace or defence environment.
Person Specification
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, proven capability to lead dynamic, multi-functional teams up to middle-management across a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of Kaizen, and Lean activities, computer literate with sound knowledge of MS Office Word / Excel / PowerPoint etc.
