About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist Clinical Lead to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing the delivery of mental health services within the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading clinical assessments and interventions for patients presenting with complex mental health issues
  • Collaborating with primary care colleagues and specialist partners to provide expert advice and support
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans that integrate drug and non-drug based approaches
  • Providing information, education, and support to service users and their carers
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • NMC registration as a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN)
  • Postgraduate psychological therapy training or equivalent experience
  • Recent continuing professional development and NMP Qualification at Masters Level
  • A strong understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2006
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a generous benefits package, including 27 days leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme, flexible working options, and access to staff networks and wellbeing opportunities.
