Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team in the AMH Neighbourhood Mental Health Services (NMHS) in Wyre Forest. As a key member of our psychology provision, you will work closely with other psychologists and mental health professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
This is a Band 6, 0.8 w.t.e fixed-term post for 12 months, with the opportunity to move to a Band 7 permanent post upon qualification. We welcome applications for full/part-time working and offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and a generous pension scheme.
Main Duties
The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and line management to junior staff members. You will also be expected to attend all necessary NMHS team meetings and participate in the NMHS psychology provision professional meetings.

Job Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to adhere to any professional training specific guidelines and implement the psychology provision guidelines and trust policies. You will also be required to behave consistently with and promote the values of the trust.
This post is open to candidates in their final year of professional training and prior to becoming registered as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with the HCPC. Upon HCPC registration, the post will be upgraded to a permanent Band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Job Description. The Band 7 job description is included in a separate job advert.

Qualifications
Essential
- BSc/BA Honours degree at 2:1 or above in Psychology.
- In final year of working towards a Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology as accredited by the BPS.
- Working towards registration as a Chartered Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) by the BPS.
- Working towards registration with HCPC as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
Essential
- Able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
- Have published in either peer-reviewed academic or professional journals and/or books.
