About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurodiversity Assessment Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at The Family Psychologist. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality assessments and support to neurodiverse children, young people, and adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive autism and ADHD assessments, including neurodevelopmental interviews and ADOS assessments.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary assessments and develop individualized support plans.
  • Communicate effectively with neurodiverse individuals, families, and internal/external staff.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide post-diagnostic intervention and support.
  • Manage a varied caseload and complete clinical reports and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with allied health and education professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Contribute to service development and participate in CPD opportunities.

Person Specification

  • Experience in delivering support and interventions to neurodiverse individuals.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to improving the experience of neurodiverse individuals.
