About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our Neighbourhood Mental Health Team in Wyre Forest and Malvern. This fixed-term opportunity is for 18 months, with a focus on delivering population-based mental health care.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work alongside multi-disciplinary teams, providing specialist support and interventions to complex cases. You will also guide primary care colleagues with prescribing advice requests and contribute to the development of new ways of working in community mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise and support to Mental Health Professionals regarding clinical care.
  • Work jointly with primary care colleagues and specialist partners to address complex cases and provide advisory services.
  • Integrate drug and non-drug-based treatment methods into care management plans.
  • Participate in audits relevant to patient care.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • NMC Registration.
  • RMN (Degree level) qualification.
  • Recent evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Evidence of post-graduate psychological therapy training or equivalent.
Salary and Location

The estimated annual salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience. The location is Wyre Forest and Malvern, with the opportunity to work from home when clinically possible.
