Training Lead

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the successful onboarding, training, and development of employees across various departments. The Training Lead will work closely with the Training Manager to develop training programs and manage a team of Training Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large team across multiple shifts to meet KPIs on time.
  • Engage and develop team members to reach optimal performance and potential.
  • Role model and enforce adherence to company values.
  • Address daily colleague queries, collaborating with HR and Training as needed.
  • Support the Training Manager in onboarding, introducing new hires to values, policies, and job tasks.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, attendance, and update materials regularly.
  • Collaborate with department heads and Training Manager to identify training needs and create materials.
  • Provide guidance to Training Supervisors to ensure consistency in training.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, evaluations, and progress.
  • Identify and improve gaps and inefficiencies in current processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety standards, reporting incidents or concerns.
  • Undertake basic problem-solving, escalating to Training Manager as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Lead or participate in ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in training management.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Knowledge of training techniques and their implementation.
  • Experience in maintaining a training matrix.
