About the Role

Merrifield Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Health Partnerships Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering a marketing strategy that drives engagement and builds partnerships with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead engagement with healthcare professionals to advance the work of our Health Information team.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and build relationships with influential clinicians and stakeholders to develop partnerships that support and promote our work.
  • Relationship Management: Seek new opportunities to build relationships and maintain current ones within the voluntary and healthcare sectors.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Coordinate marketing and promotion to healthcare professionals, working closely with Health Information and Communications colleagues to ensure effective impact.
  • Project Management: Oversee marketing initiatives to extend the reach of our information and support on cancer prevention and healthy living for the general public.
  • Communications Planning: Develop marketing and communications plans and project request forms to brief in promotional activities and asset creation with our Communications team.
  • PR and Media: Work with PR colleagues to maximize opportunities to place stories in trade press.
  • Third-Party Management: Commission third parties such as media buying agencies, freelance writers, and market researchers.
  • Team Management: Manage the role of the Health Information Officer on a day-to-day basis, motivating and supporting them, maintaining regular 1-to-1s and reviews.
  • Strategic Direction: Contribute to the strategic direction of the team's work, working with the Head of Health Information.
Requirements
  • Marketing Qualification: A marketing qualification or extensive relevant experience in a role with marketing and clinical/public health stakeholder engagement as its main focus.
  • Marketing Experience: Experience of developing marketing strategies and campaigns for health professional and consumer audiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Extensive experience of stakeholder engagement at all levels.
  • Project Management: Extensive experience of managing multistakeholder projects from conception through to delivery and evaluation.
  • Health Sector Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the structure of the UK health sector.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders to share thinking and drive plans forward.
