Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Glasgow. While prior security experience is ideal, it's not essential, as full training for the site will be provided. If you have strong customer service experience and hold an SIA licence, this could be the role for you.
- Location: Glasgow
- Hours: 42 hours per week (4 on, 4 off – days/nights)

Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a proactive approach to all security-related issues throughout your shift.
- Responding swiftly to any identifiable threats, incidents, or situations requiring colleague wellbeing support.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with the Building Security Office via radio or phone.
- Demonstrating the highest level of bearing and professionalism, maintaining a strong, visible security presence at all times.
- Performing regular patrols to ensure site safety and security, responding to any issues as they arise.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- SIA licence and ability to commute to Glasgow.
- Security experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a customer-focused attitude and commitment to exemplary service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under your own initiative.
- Organised and reliable, with the ability to maintain high standards.
- A good level of physical fitness to carry out regular patrols.
