Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing professional and detail-oriented security services to our clients, encompassing guarding, surveillance, and interventions as required.
You will be based on a large site for an international defence, aerospace, and security company, where you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of security standards to the required levels. You will be proactive in undertaking standard operating conditions and need to be on hand to respond to a range of security and safety threats or events.
Key Responsibilities- Securely guard the property, including manning a static guardhouse
- Protect company assets, visiting customers and employees of our client
- Carry out patrols across a large facility, walking perimeters both internally and externally
- Remain alert and vigilant to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening activity and retain full control until the authorities arrive
- Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed
- Record and report all faults, health, and safety hazards
- Operate radios and other physical security equipment used on site
- Carry out initial investigations and report both verbally and in writing on incidents, suspicious activities, objects, and vehicles
- Due to National Security requirements of our client, you must have held British nationality for the last five years as a minimum
- Provide valid proof of right to work in the UK
- Provide 5 Year Checkable work history including any gaps of employment
