About the Job:

This Patient Care Assistant Specialist role involves providing direct patient care, including assistance with personal care, hygiene, and sanitary needs. You will work closely with Registered Nursing Staff to ensure that patients receive the best possible care, and contribute to care assessments, implementation, and evaluation.

  • Providing skin and pressure area care to prevent ulcers
  • Assisting with safe mobilisation and seeking help when needed
  • Contributing to care assessment, implementation, and evaluation
  • Communicating effectively with staff members

You will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, participating in audits, and protecting individuals from abuse. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
