Job SummaryWe're looking for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our Bristol Depot. As a key member of our team, you'll lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence in maintenance practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A time-served technician with a recognised industry qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ).
- Supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of mobile cranes, plant machinery, and heavy vehicles.
- Experience in work allocation and stock management.
You'll also possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role will involve:
- Allocating work to our depot-based maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Managing daily staffing levels, including holiday schedules, absence management, and overtime coordination.
- Overseeing stock management to ensure optimal inventory levels for servicing and repairs.
- Cordinating servicing and maintenance activities for trailers, cranes, and other equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Taking a 'hands-on' approach, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on a variety of equipment.
