Job Title: Planned Maintenance Service Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planned Maintenance Service Supervisor to join our team at Bristol City Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple installation contracts, working with a team of surveyors and gas auditing engineers to deliver high-quality services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple installation contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Lead a team of surveyors and gas auditing engineers to achieve ambitious standards for our residents
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to gas safety and electrical installations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors and internal teams to deliver Bristol City Council's Gas Servicing programme of works

Requirements:

  • Relevant recognised Gas and/or Electrical engineering qualification equivalent to Degree or HNC or NVQ Level 3 standard
  • Extensive practical relevant experience in installation and maintenance, particularly within social housing
  • Strong line management skills and ability to build good work relationships with contractors
