Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide exceptional support and advice to patients with skin cancer, working closely with our clinical teams to ensure seamless care and coordination. This role requires a strong understanding of key referral pathways, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously with direction.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the skin CNS Teams in the daily management and support of people affected by skin cancers regionally and nationally.
- Provide an additional source of contact for patients and their families/carers, ensuring seamless care as they move along their cancer pathway.
- Offer comprehensive support and information to patients and families affected by cancer, including navigation and coordination of supportive care.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative team members, acting as a conduit between patients and healthcare professionals.
- Be an active member of the CNS team, working collaboratively to deliver a high-quality service to those affected by cancer.

Requirements- Relevant health or social care experience at Band 3 or equivalent, or transferable knowledge and experience of working with the public.
- Understanding of key referral pathways to Allied Health Professionals to support plans of care.
- Experience in managing small projects, data collection, and analysis.
- Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize workload.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate sensitivity and empathy.
