Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Academic Human Resources Officer to join our team at Acro Aircraft Seating Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our managers and employees, ensuring the effective management of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support business objectives
- Provide guidance and advice to managers on HR-related matters, including employment law and best practice
- Manage employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and performance management
- Conduct employee onboarding and induction programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
- Design and deliver HR training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Lead employee wellbeing initiatives to promote a positive and healthy work environment
- Support project work, including employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to inform HR strategies
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners
Requirements:
- Experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a similar industry
- CIPD-qualified or part-qualified
- Understanding of current employment law, HR policy, practice, and procedures
- Practical judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond to competing priorities and a flexible approach to business demands
- Highly developed relationship management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Familiarity with MS Office suite, with a high level of Excel and HRIS knowledge and expertise
