The Role

This role sits within our OEM & Media team, where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of campaigns and resolving operational and technical issues across our Carwow Group Network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of campaigns and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Support ad serving needs for different teams in our 3 markets
  • Debug ad code and software integrations with internal and external development teams
  • Provide technical expertise and support for ad serving technology-related questions and troubleshooting
  • Lead the technical implementation of commercial technical products across our ad stack
  • Support the Campaign Operations team to deliver and succeed in all campaigns
  • Work with product management specialists to deliver prioritized improvements to our commercial delivery function
  • Identify commercial opportunities for future development based on the current and future media landscape
  • Prioritize development items that maximize business value
  • Aid in the technical review of supplier selection processes across our commercial product stack
  • Understand the current commercial landscape across media by working with peers and suppliers
  • Help train and knowledge share across the department
  • Monitor and troubleshoot various ad-related issues
  • Maintain documentation of integrations and technical run books
  • Address inefficiencies in our platforms
  • Work with analysts/developers to ensure data capture is accurate
  • Partner with development/product teams to implement new technologies and codebase updates
  • Manage relationships with multiple ad tech vendors used for campaign delivery and analytics
  • Gather industry information and stay up-to-date on digital operational updates and specifications

Requirements

  • Knowledge of ad serving technologies and systems, particularly GAM
  • 5+ years of ad operations experience with a strong technical and setup background, publisher experience preferred
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to persuade, negotiate, and establish good working relationships with colleagues and clients/agencies
  • Understanding of GDPR and its impact on decisions
  • Experience in product development working practices with agile methodologies
  • Experience of application and technical system integration working with internal and external partners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent data analysis, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail in documentation and communication
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet variable deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and define own workload
  • Experience in the media industry or online advertising environment
  • Interest and experience with debugging tools
