Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Trading Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading operations and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Daily Trading Activity: The Trading Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting daily trading activity, including cash, positions, and trading reconciliations.
- Identify Areas of Improvement: The candidate will identify areas of improvement and develop and maintain automated processes using Python, Go, and SQL.
- Support Technology Team: The Trading Operations Specialist will support the technology team in developing new tools and applications.
- Manage Counterparty Relationships: The candidate will manage relationships with various counterparties and trading exchanges to resolve ad-hoc trading issues.
- Monitor Cash and Collateral: The Trading Operations Specialist will monitor and manage cash and collateral across multiple brokers and clearing houses.
- Produce Reports: The candidate will produce PnL, treasury, and risk reports.
- Live Risk Monitoring: The Trading Operations Specialist will live risk monitoring and escalation.
- Onboard New Exchanges: The candidate will onboard new trading exchanges, brokers, counterparties, and trading products globally.
- Execute Trades: The Trading Operations Specialist will execute trades on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
- Education: A degree or Master's in one of the following: Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience: Roughly 2-5 years of Trading Operations experience from a trading firm, market maker, hedge fund, or exchange. Could be open to more/less experience for the right candidate.
- Programming Skills: Programming and automation capabilities in either Python, Go, or both.
