Financial Operations Role at Ad Idem Consulting

We're seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist with advanced technical skills to join our team at Ad Idem Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily trading activity, including cash, positions and trading reconciliations, to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop and maintain automated processes using Python, Go, and SQL to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the technology team in developing new tools and applications to support financial operations.
  • Manage relationships with various counterparties and trading exchanges to resolve ad-hoc trading issues and ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Monitor and manage cash and collateral across multiple brokers and clearing houses to maintain financial stability.
  • Produce PnL, treasury, and risk reports to provide valuable insights for financial decision-making.
  • Live risk monitoring and escalation to ensure prompt response to financial risks.
  • Onboard new trading exchanges, brokers, counterparties, and trading products globally to expand financial operations.
  • Execute trades on an ad-hoc basis to support financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Masters in one of the following: Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Roughly 2-5 years of Trading Operations experience from a trading firm, market maker, hedge fund, or exchange.
  • Programming and automation capabilities in either Python, Go, or both.
