At Alexander Lloyd, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Reward Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing and successful Financial Services organisation.

Job Role

  • Provide strategic advice and support to leaders across the business, and Business Partners on reward and recognition.
  • Ensure reward frameworks are managed consistently, in accordance with best practice, and legal, regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Lead the market benchmarking process to ensure the company continues to offer competitive and relevant reward and benefits and are proactive in identifying and responding to emerging market trends.
  • Oversee the administration of all of reward programmes, including annual pay review cycle, benefits enrolment window and our various incentive programmes, whilst providing marketing leading insight into best practice for all elements of the colleague reward lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all programmes comply with regulatory and legal requirements, including the timely and accurate submission of pay gap and other statutory reporting elements.
  • Closely collaborate with other HR sub-functions such as Talent Acquisition and Talent Development to ensure the offering is aligned to the employee value proposition and supports career growth.
  • Support in the preparation of papers for the Group Executive Committee and Remuneration Committee of the Board, ensuring all requirements and management information is provided within the time-frame, accurate and in the formats required.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the Reward team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years technical compensation and benefits experience in a corporate environment, ideally financial services.
  • Track record of compiling and presenting data and insights – in particular reward modelling, job architecture, and benefits brokering.
  • Experience of managing, leading, empowering and motivating teams.
  • Excellent data analysis and communications skills.
  • Able to influence, negotiate and manage demonstrating credibility and respect.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current industry best practice in Reward Performance.
