Mobile HVAC Maintenance Engineer with Excellent Travel Requirements

The role of Mobile HVAC Maintenance Engineer is an exciting opportunity to join the CBRE team, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of critical building systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • To travel to various sites across the UK and maintain a full UK driving license
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists
  • Complete reactive tasks throughout buildings and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain plant faults and defects, ensuring they are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also:

  • Develop a good working relationship with all members of the CBRE staff, subcontractors, and client representatives
  • Supervise and monitor subcontractor works while undertaking maintenance
  • Arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice, as well as be flexible with working patterns
  • Lone work when required, subject to passing satisfactory training

This role offers an estimated salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A good basic education with strong written and spoken English
  • City and Guilds qualification in a relevant field, such as electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Formal training in electrical/mechanical maintenance

You will also possess excellent knowledge of:

  • General building works, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques
  • Building services systems and maintenance schedules
  • UPS, generators, HV, PDU's, Crac units, or equivalent, with the ability to fault-find using graphical information and current alarm data
