Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Technician

Location: Doncaster region

About the Role

We are seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team at Integral UK LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing building services, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive maintenance across 9 sites in the Doncaster region.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with the Facilities Coordinator and Management team to give contractors access to site during normal working hours.
  2. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by site service engineers and Contract Delivery Manager, including fault finding, testing, repairing, and preventative maintenance of equipment, systems, and services.
  3. Close/update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system.
  4. Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, and compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures, and working arrangements.
  5. Prepare and adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
  6. Supervise engineering subcontractors, and ensure compliance with contractual commitments and site operating processes.
  7. Follow the appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
  8. Support static and mobile Site Services Officers/Engineers.
  9. Ability to fault find and rectify.
  10. Support site service engineers, contract management & admin team through the operations office, dealing with day-to-day engineering and other contract issues.
  11. Record engineering performance.
  12. Effective communication with clients and end users.
  13. Flexible approach to working times to suit client and business requirements.
  14. Respond to emergency situations in normal and out of hours working times, occasionally covering for service engineers due to annual leave or sickness.
  15. Organize and direct subcontractor labour as necessary.
  16. Conduct asset collections and condition surveys to assist site service engineers and Contract Delivery Manager.
  17. Maintain Health & Safety records and ensure good practice.
  18. Other duties as requested by site service engineers and Contract Delivery Manager to ensure smooth running of contracts within the region.
  19. Ensure Company & Site Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  20. Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works.
  21. Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required and requested by management.
  22. Attend site emergencies and callouts, outside of normal working hours, occasionally covering for service engineers due to annual leave or sickness.
Requirements
  1. Current Full UK driving licence.
  2. Good awareness of Health & Safety working practices.
  3. Understanding of basic joinery, general DIY, and basic plumbing.
