Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services and maintenance programs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with our facilities coordinator and management team to coordinate access to our sites during normal working hours.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by our site service engineers and contract delivery manager, including fault finding, testing, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment, systems, and services.
  • Close and update completed PPM tasks on our CAFM system.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, and comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and adhere to method statements and risk assessments for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
  • Supervise engineering subcontractors and ensure they comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes.
  • Follow the appropriate controls within our Permit to Work systems.
  • Support our static and mobile site services officers/engineers.
  • Fault find and rectify issues.
  • Support our site service engineers, contract management, and admin team through our operations office, dealing with day-to-day engineering and contract issues.
  • Record engineering performance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and end-users.
  • Be flexible with working times to suit client and business requirements.
  • Respond to emergency situations during normal and out-of-hours working times.
  • Support the organizing and direction of subcontractor labor as necessary.
  • Conduct asset collections and condition surveys to assist our site service engineers and contract delivery manager.
  • Maintain health and safety records and ensure good practice.
  • Perform other duties as requested by our site service engineers and contract delivery manager to ensure smooth running of contracts within the region.
  • Ensure company and site health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works.
  • Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required and requested by management.
  • Attend site emergencies and callouts outside of normal working hours.
  • Carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders.

Requirements

  • Current full UK driving license.
  • Good awareness of health and safety working practices.
  • Understanding of basic joinery, general DIY, and basic plumbing.
