About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our community rehabilitation team at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of patients requiring rehabilitation following a stroke, providing specialized assessments and interventions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure timely discharge and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Therapy Assistants and Assistant Practitioners as necessary.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: £45,753 - £51,072 per annum (inclusive of annual leave and bank holidays). The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered and possess a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy approved by the College of OT, UK, with postgraduate training or experience to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent.
