About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Division of Health Research at Lancaster University and contribute to a cutting-edge research project. As a Research Scientist, you will assist in conducting research and evaluating interventions in palliative care, working closely with Professor Nancy Preston and Professor Sheila Payne, the project leads.

Our team is passionate about improving palliative and end-of-life care, and we are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies to support your career goals and personal life. We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum and flexible working arrangements.

About the Project

This five-year study aims to develop an intervention to improve communication and continuity of care for cancer patients with palliative needs. As a Clinical Research Assistant, you will assist with data collection, patient recruitment, and interviews with clinicians, patients, and families. Your contributions will help develop a MOOC to disseminate the results and promote best practices in palliative care.
