Executive Director of Cultural Development

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking President to lead the organization in its mission to promote and support the cultural sector in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate a compelling vision and roadmap for the Alliance and the cultural sector, and champion this vision with stakeholders and constituencies at the local and national levels.
- Work with the Board of Directors to assess the needs of the Alliance and the cultural sector, re-affirm the mission, and chart a strategic course for the organization.
- Advocate for policies that develop and sustain the region's cultural sector, and build effective working relationships with cultural organizations, community leaders, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Promote the Alliance and the sector through written articles, personal presentations, and social media, and raise its visibility through conferences and community events.
- Keep the Board and other constituency groups informed of local issues, trends, events, and best practices of significance to member organizations.
Requirements:
- Dynamic and forward-thinking leader with a strong vision for the cultural sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong strategic planning and advocacy skills, with the ability to develop and implement policies that benefit the cultural sector.
- Experience in fundraising and financial management, with the ability to evolve the Alliance's revenue model and ensure fiscal health and stability.
