Cygnet Health Care is committed to providing high-quality patient care and is seeking a talented Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our adult mental health service at Cygnet Elowen Hospital in Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for patient treatment plans, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Key duties include assessing referrals, conducting mental state examinations, and participating in ward rounds and clinical audits.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced psychiatrist to progress to Medical Director level through our management schemes, which include Leadership and Management programmes accredited by The Chartered Management Institute.

Our competitive package includes a salary of up to £160,000 per year, 30 days annual leave entitlement, and five days study leave. We also offer various benefits, such as a company-funded cash plan, gym discounts, and free meals.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a fully GMC registered, MBBS qualified consultant psychiatrist with experience in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis. You should also be familiar with the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, as well as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity.
